In Room 4 we have been learning about simple fractions. We now know how to find a half, a quarter and one whole of a shape. To show our knowledge, we decided to make pretend pizza and cut it into different fractions.
Success Criteria:
- Understand what 'equal parts' mean.
- Know how many equal parts are needed to make halves and quarters.
We are learning about quarters and halves. I cut my pizza into quarters. You get four pieces when you cut your pizza into quarters and you could share it with four people. I have tomatoes on my pizza.
